TESTIMONIALS

So, if you're looking for a professional service, quality care, good sound experienced advice, a happy healthy horse or pony and above all peace of mind then feel free to contact Sarah Harrison on 07787 816447 or email sarah@towerburnstables.co.uk

Since retiring to Scotland six years ago with our three horses, we have regularly used Towerburn Stables for short term livery while we are away on holiday on family visiting.

Sarah and her team have always treated our horses as we do ourselves and she makes every effort to ensure that they are well cared for and safe.  In winter, we have been able to specify what sort of regime they need with regard to stabling and turn-out, and in summer she has been brilliant at ensuring that they get the right amount of grazing - neither too little nor too much.  Its the sort of extra care and extra attention that makes all the difference to peace of mind as an owner.

Last year when we went on holiday and left our horses with her, one of them was recovering from a recent bout of laminitis.  Sarah was marvellous with him and I knew he was in safe hands.  When we came back, he was on the road to recovery and a much happier boy.

We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Sarah and Towerburn Stables for a really caring and professional service.

Hilary & Allan Kirkland, now in France

We came to Towerburn Stables as a last resort with Alfie, our 14 year old 14.1hh pony.  Alfie had been with us for six months and we struggled with bad manners and bullying in the field.  Riding proved almost impossible.  He was lazy and bucked at every given opportunity, not much fun for a 9 year old.  We bought him as a mother/daughter pony and even I got to a stage where I found it impossible to load him and riding became unpleasant and a chore, added to that my little girl was terrified of him.  Sarah and I sat down and discussed the options and tried to work out the reasons for his behaviour.  He craved routine, schooling and discipline.  Three things I couldn't offer with a job, two children and a husband working away.  Within weeks of Alfie going to Towerburn, he and Daisy were starting to work together.  He had a daily routine and Sarah re-schooled him and worked on his strengths and weaknesses.  A year and a half on, he is a different pony.  My little girl would spend every waking moment at the yard if she had it her way and I feel safe in the knowledge that I can leave her in capable hands should she need help or assistance.  Everyone visiting the yard loves Alfie and that is thanks to Sarah and her dedicated team.  He is now a happy, well schooled, pony with manners.

Riding Instructor on Offer

5ft 6, riding instructor, have known for 18 months, very professional, suits both nervous and experienced riders, confidence builder, and has a great sense of humour.  Would recommend for both instruction and livery as not only a quality teacher, has a 5* yard.
